The problem
Three diamond-trading companies wanted to share one internal platform — clients, invoices, orders, products and financial reporting — while operating completely independently.
What I built
As lead architect I owned delivery end to end — schema design, API layer, access-control model, observability hooks and production rollout:
- Company-scoped RBAC: a user's role in one company grants nothing in another, enforced in the API layer on every query.
- Financial pipelines for P&L tracking, ledgers, memos and bank reconciliation.
- A real-time executive dashboard on a unified reporting layer.
- Mentoring: I guided a junior engineer through system design and production debugging.
Why it matters for agents
Isolation is the first thing an agent with data access must get right. This platform is where I learned to design it in from the schema up.
